Coming Soon at Catholic Hour

I'll be on the road the next few dates promoting My Catholic Faith Delivered. And if you just happen to live within driving distance of St. Maria Goretti parish in Arlington, Texas, please come to my presentation on the "new evangelization" there at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Because of my travels, I don't anticipate having the time to post here for a couple days. My best guess is that my next post will be this Friday, but earlier is possible!

There's some good stuff coming up. My next top ten list will take a humorous look at Lent, while I'll also introduce you to a couple saints who who might make you forget about Valentine's Day. And assuredly there will be various other posts on everything from apologetics to raising Catholic kids.

So, until later in the week, I'm out.

We are using Umbraco as our CMS offering. Mainly because it fits the type of client we are aiming at a certain price point. Also because it is the best .NET open source CMS that we found.

They are smaller and don't require so many features or fine grain control on security etc.

But of course there are other clients who are prepared to pay for off the shelf features and the license fee that comes with Sitecore or Episerver.

Right now Umbraco is helping us on our way. But as soon as that client comes along who needs that bit more and is prepared to pay the license fee for it, then that's fine with us.
